What does it mean to be Care Quality Commission Registered?

  1. An annual inspection and independent audit is carried out by a senior Care Quality Commission Inspector and a Pharmacist.
  2. The vaccine fridge log and cold chain are evaluated and checked to ensure medicines have been maintained at the correct temperature.
  3. Policies and procedures are stringently checked and monitored.
  4. The oxygen and emergency drugs are checked.
  5. Clinical Infection Control policies and procedures are checked and reviewed to ensure compliance with current best practice.
  6. Patient Record Cards are inspected to ensure they are maintained in compliance with the Commission’s standards.
  7. Human Resources policies and procedures and personnel files are inspected to verify that appropriate checks have been carried out on staff in relation to qualifications, references and suitability to work with children.
  8. Patient Consumer Survey Results are reviewed to ensure consistent high standards.

Our clinics at 19 St John Street, Manchester and 139 Harley Street are Care Quality Commission registered. In Birmingham we work together with an NHS doctor and are therefore not registered.

However all our clinics we run or are associated with carefully follow procedures, protocols and guidelines to ensure our 100% saftey record.
